The Longoni C67 Maple Carom Shaft is a traditional wooden shaft designed specifically for Libre carom billiards, also known as free game or straight rail.
The shaft features Longoni's Conic 67 profile, a geometry developed for the control and precision required in Libre play. Its shorter 67 cm length and 11 mm tip create a configuration suited to delicate positional play, accurate cueball control, and the refined touch associated with straight rail carom.
The C67 is produced from the same type of maple used for Longoni Pro shafts, but with less selective cosmetic grading. This allows the shaft to retain excellent playability while presenting a more traditional, vintage appearance.
The shaft measures 67 cm in length and weighs approximately 117 g. It features a 22 mm wooden joint diameter and is designed for compatibility with Longoni cues using the traditional Wooden Joint system.
At the front, the C67 is fitted with an 11 mm Da Vinci Medium cue tip, providing a balanced combination of control, feedback, responsiveness, and precise cueball contact for Libre carom play.
Longoni carefully selects and processes the maple used for its traditional shafts. The wood undergoes controlled cutting, drying, and stabilization processes designed to help maintain dimensional stability and consistent playing characteristics over time.
